This is what I had glued up and ready to turn down at the gathering last Sunday. Still needs a bit more shaping and wet sanded.

Thanks Billy. If i could do it over again, i would push the petals closer to the elliptical and start another set of blue petals at both ends of the grip. I would also stretch the elliptical a little bit more. Live and learn.

MArk, perfect hit the nail on the head. I keep telling people don't worry if it's not perfect, you'll never get it perfect, it's perfect enough. Then I see Paul's stuff and I'm like uh-oh, maybe I should be taking more care and payingmor attention to what I'm doing, lol. Paul takes a great dealof care at each step of the process to make sure everythign is aligned properly, aquare, etc - and it realy shows in his work.

Beautiful work. It is really hard to get EVA inlays to look as good a wood, incredible. Thanks for posting.
