That is a good idea, first time I saw it was from Billy Vivona. Should work when tiptops arent avaible in the sizes you need. Would also be great for titanium guides since you cant find titanium tiptops

Ken, I borrowed this idea on a lure retreiver for a buddy of mine. It's an old Fenwick that is cut off about 6" in front of the foregrip. He wanted me to put a tip top on it for better control. I told him that they don't make tip tops that big but I had an idea that would work. Thanks for the inspiration.
