Looks like it would be mounted to a wall and the cams adjusted for blank diameter to hold up to two blanks horizontal to measure CCS or as a spine finder?

It is a tool used to copy / compare one blank to another by adding equal amounts of load to each blank and moving one blank to copy the curve of the original blank.

Bubba has a favorite rod -


The blank manufacturers did the copying!


A rodbuilder can hang them up in front of Bubba and he will not argue with the facts!
