The winding check is just a cheap toe ring I got at WallyWorld. I like
it because it has waves on it. The hook keeper is just the semicircle
with two flat ends. I think I got them from Merritt or Mudhole. Lots
of companies have them. Did you figure out how I got thread under it?

Cant fool you Billy. You hook one leg under the toe ring and when the wrap
gets to the loop, just go under it. Looks like the hook keeper comes out of the thread. That's why I used black so you cant see the legs when the finish goes on.
Hi Mike. I have been busy and in and out of the country (Venezuela). Now I hope to have time to do some rods for me too. Maybe I will be able to come to Charlotte this year and see all you guys. It's still a long way off for me. I
found out that the BB lost all the pics so decided to add some oldies and new
ones.
