Finally finished. Xzoga PE 3-4 popper rod. This will be one of my personal rods. I made one previous for a close mate as a retirement present. He never got to use it after a battle with cancer but I know he treasured it.

Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. THat Vintage Blue seat is the nicest seat MAtagi sells, I put one on a similarly colored rod recently myself. GRipwork, trimwork, and threadwork is fantastic!!

From the "King" - that is a comment I really do appreciate. No Bull intended here, but your work has always been an inspiration to me. Thanks again.

Nice work Mark!... with regard to the blank... do you like it. I had previously made one for myself and it did not cast very well ... i found the tip too stiff and it does not load that way. However, i like their jigging blank... works pretty well for me.

I just went and looked back at more of your work. YOu definitely have a distinct style with teh grips, wraps, and trim. YOu're at the point where you could post a photo of a rod you built, and not attach your name to it and people will know who built it. Big thumbs up, keep up teh top notch work. I love seeing over the top stuff like this, I hope that it inspires others o go for it as well, which I know it does.
