Another view of my first rod grip. This is my first build and I tried a birch bark grip. Also has some burl cork. The winding check is black ash. Took me a while to get it done but I learned so much. Thanks again to everyone for the support.

What do you call that grip shape? Don't think I have ever seen one quite like it.

It was referred to as a modified reverse half wells in the source picture i got it from.
