Storage Room in Framing

Description: This is the long/narrow storage in the FROG. The original design called for the interior wall to be insulated and the exterior wall/ceiling inside the storage space to be left as is. We asked the builder to instead insulate the exterior wall/ceiling so that we could extend the envelope and use the closet as a flex space. There is a near identical space on the other side of the room...only about 5' shorter. It is also insulated on the exterior per our request.

Rolling power wrapper base with brakes

Description: I prefer staying at one location on my rod building bench when building a rod. As a result, I have a rolling power wrapper that lets me roll the rod by me as I wrap and finish each station on the rod. When I first finished the rollers, I quickly realized that the wrapper rolled so easily that it was rolling out of position when wrapping. Thus, I added "brakes" to the wrapper which is simply a pair to carriage bolts threaded through the base and with a chair leg tip on the underside and a knob on the top side to set and release the brakes.
